Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and Bacon

Cudjoe and I recently went to The Newell House in nearby Carbondale for supper. I had the chicken piccata, but the star of the show was pan seared Brussels sprouts with garlic and pancetta.
I started with Brussels sprouts. I cut the stems off and cut them in half. I heated olive oil in a skillet and added minced garlic. I added in the Brussels and seared them. You want them to be slightly crunchy. Be careful not to over cook them, or they'll be mushy. I cooked a couple slices of bacon in the microwave and added it to the sprouts. And of course, salt and pepper to taste.
That's all there is to it! Serve to family and friends!
