BLUEBERRY GALETTE

It's blueberry season in southern Illinois.  I bought these blueberries at the Carbondale Farmer's Market, which was voted third best in the Midwest by Midwest Traveler Magazine.  Congratulations to all the local farmers and crafters who contribute to this Farmer's Market!!

As will happen sometimes with baking, things don't always turn out as planned, and this was one of those occasions.  This galette leaked all over the baking sheet.

I'm not sure what caused it, but I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to post about this dessert because it tastes divine.

When I transferred the galette from the baking sheet to a plate, to my great consternation, it fell apart!

And when I uploaded my photos to my computer, my photo app stopped responding, and I had to reboot, and, I wasn't finished taking pictures, and the ice-cream was melting.

The struggle is real!

I will make this great little dessert again, and share the recipe at that time.  Since it fell apart, I will have to tweak it a bit.

But in the meantime, you can always do an internet search.  As all food bloggers know, there is a recipe for almost everything!

Until next time, Happy Baking!!
