Wow!  This is yummy!  And perfect for these sizzling hot summer days that we're experiencing.

I made this ice cream cake this morning.  It is quick and easy.  I stuck it in the freezer while we played golf, and when I got home, it was ready.

I took lots of pictures.  For some reason, they were all blurry.  I finally figured out the problem.  Add to that the fact that I was rushing because, nevertheless, this is an ice cream cake, and it was starting to melt.

And Cudjoe was waiting on his piece of cake!

This is made with a layer of crushed cookies, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, and another layer of the same.  I sprinkled crushed bakery cookies that I had on hand on top of the cake.  You could use crushed candy bars, sprinkles, or whatever your heart desires!

I made this cake in a Springform pan.

You should try it.  You will love it!!
